Gilera Runner 209 ccm Quattro valve

A good vario and clutch setup is allways good for acceleration.
But if there is other restictions. I can't help you unfortunately.

A little picture from the meeting this saturday:

Additional pictures of the SBK will follow.
A very very good exhaust, and it feels more powerfull than just a full upen Scorpion. Especially midrange.
Easy to fit.
Looks good. And is light too.
There is a spring hook to easy when mounting
E number.
And removeable dB killer. Nice tone with, and a sweeet deep tone without, and with a 50 mm outlet, it give quite some noise :-)

Clean it with a degreasing agent (brakeclaener or diesel start, gasoline or similar)
Then mount and tighten hard.
You could allso use loctight bearing lock or similar locking liquid.

it's called a woodruff key joe ouwe slopert

yeah that was it ED ;)

got the woodruffkey yesterday.... So fixed it started it and drove it.
BUT!!!! as i drove around the conrner i noticed some steam.....
Yup there it was on the exhaust gutting out of a hole in de coolant hose :(

this is already second time that this hose is damaged, since the head is a little bit more to the gasoline tank. The buddy almost hits the head there.
Fisrt time the clip of a buddy screw cutted the hose, so i'd replaced the clip by a nut.
But this time it looks like the bolt/screw itself has perforated the coolant hose :(
So next time the buddy will have 2 stay in place just with a bolt less... hoping this time everything will stay undamaged

Hello Velo,

do you know for what the second pipe on the down pipe from the exhaust is?

Btw nice scoot! which adapter do you use for the S6 brake and is it worth it?

This is my scoot at the moment...

Nice looking Scoot Chri$h
You must have spend a lot on that thing, nice to see that it looks fairly anonymus for the untrained eye.
Is it fast?

The ekstra pipe on the header is, as far as I can figure out. Some kind of expansion chamber. It helps slowing the exhaust fumes down so the engine doesn't waste good mixture in the header. But it does allso allow a great amount of exhaust to excape. I think that is why I could gain a gram pr. roller in my vario and have the same power, or slightly better, than with the old full open exhaust.

The adaptor for the brake is a first gen. R-Setup which has been modified.
I won't change for any prise, I have super super feeling with my SBS HF brake pads and it can enddo from aprox. 120 km/h

The adaptor can be seen here:

I made a template first. But made a mistake, I made it from an adaptor rather from a piece of cardbord. Silly me.
Wich means that I have a useless adaptor laying around.

Guys I have a little problem:?

My setup:
- Malossi Cilinder 209 cc
- Malossi Multivar 2000 (13G malossi roller)
- Malossi sec gear 15/41
- Malossi CDI
- Malossi Gas box
- Exaust Scorpions
- Carburetor walbro 34mm with 115mm jets Dellorto 5mm

works well, but yesterday I installed a:

- Malossi power cam
- Tuned stock head with Malossi valves and springs
I used the 145mm jets Dellorto. Scooter goes to 8000rpm like a rocket, but above 8000rpm the engine stops (as if he had no fuel) is adjusted carburetor. Drilled a few holes that had more air. Please hint, perhaps the fault of the vacuum?

I hope that I write as understandable. I do not speak fluent English

you need to upjet to atleast 140 main jet and you can lose the airbox then and use a open airfilter8)

User PoRToKaLa 160mm jets used with the original filter and no problems:). I checked it without a filter is the same. I suspect underpressure, I gax box and long rubber tube can by it, but also checks the jets 115mm

He velo, do you like that s6 caliper? No leak problems?

I got mine leaking once already :(

About the vxr i've already made 140 km yesterday, but with 2 heavy rollers and 2 rich mixture.
Ed had already warned me that 2 rich mixture could end the bougie......
And i think it did :O
So i'm gonna change the bougie and go back in jets from 140 to 132.
It's going on the dyno the monday 3 may :D

I did hit 160 on the speedo, with 3/4 throttle, full throttle was stottering :S

Your bike looks great velo, really racy
And are the f36r's on sale i see chrisch also got one.....
I find 700 euro's still alot of money, but never say never ;)

Personaly I haven't had any leaks, but I now my lokal dealer swops them without blinking if there is a leak.
othervise it works fine for me. You can use stock master compared to the Malossi where you would need a different master with a bigger piston to have the same feeling as the Stage6 caliper.
And with the SBS High Friction brakepads, it is a charm.

Thanks, plan is to race it this year as well.
Conserning calipers, it kind of sucks when they leak. But you should be able to have it changed without problems.

I am looking forward to see what power yours make. Mine hits 140 km/h after aprox 350-400 meters atm.

Conserning F36R
Yes, they are a bit pricy. But, I must say. It is the best money that I have ever spend on my Runner. It performs realy top level, For race or comfort.

Scoop:
If I remember right, it fits jets with 19-21 mm Dell'orto.
My lokal shop, Speedline.dk does have jets in those rangs, but I would guess it would cost quite a fortune in freight.
