.net servers upgraden toch? of nie dan
[EDIT]
It seems that a company close to the .NET strategy has been able to obtain information that Microsoft is upgrading all of it's MSN servers to the .NET strategy (Windows .NET server?) what with RC1 (rc is een beta test op WindowsXP = de nieuwe windows) delivered only last week it WAS planned to upgrade then but like all things, something went tits up and they had to cancel until yesterday. Most of the servers have been down for over 12 hours and it seems they did not account for a back-up solution
people still signed on are able to use the service, but signing off gets you in the same situation as me and thousands of other users.
Many sites are reporting that Microsoft's MSN (or Windows) Messenger is down. While I can confirm this not being able to sign in myself this has happened many times before. Only this time the outage has lasted for over 12 hours!
Hotmail is working and various other passport sites seem to be functioning well. I guess we will have to stick this one out until MS comes up with a solution.
Have you been affected by this outage?
Update: seems MSN is coming back online, alot of people have lost most of their contacts in the process (me not included thankfully) If you wish to contact microsoft on this matter feel free to do so here [http://messenger.msn.com/support/contactus.asp] stating your problem (MSN related only ok?, they cannot help you with your sex life!)
