Central Stand

Mexicano

Mexicano
Hi, time ago I switched to a Yasuni C21 on my Vento Triton R4i and I couldn't fit the central stand anymore, I was using the side stand for a while unitl now, I built a custom central stand for my scooter:

First, I cut the upper part from the stock stand:

Then I got some square frame:

I did a "notch" to insert the upper part:

I'll weld the highlighted parts:

Cut a small plug for it:

The upper part is welded now:

Me too, I recently got myself an electrode welder and still practicing technique, would love to get my hands on a MIG.

Btw just be sure to park your bike on a flat surface :)

I love MIG too, mine is a Lincoln Pro-Mig 140, small, portable, reliable, plugs on a house hold outlet...it's really great, and even if you are not an expert, you can do nice welding..just look mine.

Now make yourself one of these and ditch your mud-flap :):

Not a great picture, but the only one I could find, I did this to my Mz a few years ago:

I'm waiting for a few parts from Scooter-Center:

This rear mud guard:

A rear under tray like this one, so no more mud flap at the back!

The rear leds light with integrated turn signals

Also the mirrors:

The front turn signals:

And I will make a "fake" head light like this:

And some nice carbon fibre details: master cylinder cover, handdle ends, etc.

Very nice. I wish that undertray would have been available when I had the Mz. It's costing you a small fortune to get all this stuff from Europe to Mexico, lol. :)

Mexicano,

I have been following your Vento with great interest! It's a fantastic machine in all regards. What is the part number for that mudflap? We have a lot of bikes that could fit that that are similar to the Triton.

Will you have to cut this mudguard to fit your intake setup? Or does the carb and filter fit above?

Thanks Areomyst!

The Undertray (mud guard) P/N is MTKT025, I got it from Scooter Center in Germany, this part is from a CPI Hussar.

I guess I will have to make some modifiactions to it be cause my carb set-up.

I will get it in some 20 days from now...as soon as I get my hands on it will post some pics as well as the process to fit it in my scooter.

Best regards,
