(BYS) Zip-N8RO

[BOOST YA SCOOT]

Hi my name is sam and i live in the UK. Me and my brother own a scooter shop in the uk (www.boostyascoot.co.uk)

we are going to make a custom Piaggio Zip sp for the road :W

My engine set up is going to be:

FKT piaggio zip block
Malossi MHR repica FKT tuned
Malossi HPC
Malossi C4
Stage6 R1200
Malossi variator
Malossi delta clutch (BLACK SPRING)
Stage 6 clutch bell
Malossi pully
Malossi kevlar belt
Malossi 16/37 primary gears
Malossi manifold
Malossi vl14 reed block
Stage 6 Mikuni TM24
Stage 6 MOSTER FILTER
Dominwo throttle
Malossi TC unit

The custom features are going to be:

Pearl paint and custom air brushing
BGM crome

Stoping / suspension feaointures are going to be:

Malossi whoop disk,Malossi rear shoes
Malossi RS24 (FRONT & REAR)

Fine tuning:

3x 3.8 and 3x 4.1 roller wights
210 main jet

Datalogging:

maximum hp:16.2(FKT bank) 14.8 tovami
maximum speed (70) MPH (130) KPH

We get the zip for £300 of Ebay and the project start when we get it home 8) :W

cut the back end down to see how the number plate will fit

started to strip it down but hit a probleme with the fork plane |(

sorted the probleme with front plane , just needed to drop the fronk forks

palnes go up to the (MR B PaintShop) the sprayers in about 1 week time. for now we need to clean the frame and engine block

panles are at the painter and the wheels are masked up for paniting

Some of the panle in the sraying both

some of the panles have had there frist colt of paint (primer) and are ready for the next

front and back panles get two colt to make it very smooth 8)

Backend gets maked for the air brushing

some of the other panles are in the booth having the final colt of lactor

front and back get the air brushing done and know need the finishing tuches 8)

the back end with all it colour on it but know needs the pin striping 8)

the back and front are finished and now need to:love: 8)

the zip was rebuilt with a different engine set-up.when we went to the SA-weekend 2005 we meet FREDDY KOOPMANS TUNING and booked the Zip-sp in for some tuning.

Sorry but i do not have any pictures on this compurter of the zip at freddys. but when i get them i will up-date the page |(

any-way so pictures of the zip when we get back from koopmans tuning

thank you for the message, we have got the mirrors on the zip becuase it still get used for the road and you need to see whats behind you, i also do not like the look of the mirror:r but i like them when i ride it

we got 16.2(FKT bank) 14.8 tovami out of the zip, it is a lot of power when you think that the cylinder is only a malossi MHR-REP

Is the scooter scene in the UK growing? From what I have heard it's mostly vintage scooters? Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think it's neat to see more automatics, and your bikes are certainly the source of a lot of inspiration! Very very nice work!

Scooters are getting more popular over here in the United States too.
