Question about Pipe on Minarelli

Hi all
I Finally went to the power test (I don't know the word in english).
And now I know that MHR Team Pipe sucks ...
I tried Pro Race Pipe and Hebo Racing 3 Pipe, I had best power with the Hebo Racing 3.
So Now I will wait for information about the C21 and will choice beetwen those two Exhaust.

For Information I had 17 PS at the rear wheel with a MHR Team Cross NOT tuned.
I can show you the graph if you are intersted to see them !

Bye
Kique ;)

Tram is correct, no pipe is better!!!!!!!! Unfortually, you have borrow or to buy all the good known racing exhaust & test them all with your set up. Pipes that some people like, you many not.
Example: We scored 24bhp at the rear wheel with a Piaggio Zip. The exhaust that gave us the most BHP was the Metrakit Pro Race #2. I tested:

1. Matrakit Pro Race #2 - 24bhp
2. Polini Evo - 23.2bhp
3. Polini Evo Factory Custom Made - 23.8bhp
4. Yasuni C20 - 23.5bhp

There are so many variables to take into consideration. For example: looking at you chart I would think that the variator weights were either tooo light or the motor is not designed to run at Maximum RPM when testing some of these exhaust. I say this because the motor only runs at an adverage of lets say 12,000rpm. Most of those pipes are ment for motors of a higher RPM.
For me looking at your dyno gragh, the Yasuni C21 is your best score. I would use the Yasuni C21. The Hebo may have more HP but it falls of the power at Max rpm too fast. Did you try a slightly heavier variator weight with the hebo? If both set up were to race as is, the Yasuni C21 would Win the race.

Note: Your BHP recordings are very good for 12,000rpm I must say!

What was the setup of you're zip.... ?

24 bhp blocked is really high, i guess u have also tested it @ koopmans tuning

I also see my tests here.
rpm witch goes with the graph, is not correct!
u can look @ my explanation, the HR2 gave most power @ 13.8 rpm
the KRD @ 14.1/14.2rpm the c21 @ 14.0/14.1rpm

@ tram, you're correct, everyone on this forum focusses to much on other peoples tests, but in fact they need to test it themselfs to be sure what kind of exhaust performs best on their OWN engine.

@ kique:
i'm pretty certain that the yasuni c20 performs really good @ you're setup, powerband reaches from 13k until 14.5k, a standard mhr cross normally gives its power @ an rpm of 13.5k... same rule goes for u, witch tram already explained.

maybe u can post the blocked graphs?

regards burn

17ps? is that with MHR Team pipe with untuned Cross cilinder? if so then the MHR Team pipe truly is a rip-off 'coz you don't get what you pay for & MHR Team pipe costs a lot of money.

Yes, our dyno test are very high. Our scooter was tested at Metrakit factor last Oct. '04. When we arrived we had 20,6hp.
The technician, Mr. Powl with a few changed managed to get 24bhp at the rear wheel with a Metrakit Pro Race #2 Exhaust System. I video taped everything & I have the dyno charts but I do not know how to post them. I will ask Mr. Benelli to show me how to post., on this site.
