Opinions on Malossi 3112642-T

Wondering what some opinions are from people with first hand experience on the Malossi 3112642-T ( Tuned ) 70cc H2o kit?

I am looking at it for a 70cc quad for my son but before I buy anything I always try and get some opinions/feedback.

Thanks in advance, Corey

just buy the regular MHR Team 7T (31 12642) & use the hundreds of $'s you'll save & buy a decent crankshaft like the Malossi RHQ (53 8009) & other important stuff.

these cylinders can make 22hp at the wheel out of the box with just clever modifications to the intake, crankcase & the right pipe of course (Yasuni C21). the Tuned version can make 24hp but that's only achievable by only the best of tuners & that's with hundreds of hours of machining, preparation & fine tuning.

the MHR Team 7T is the best 70cc cylinder in the market only to be superceded by the Team 7T-T if you got what it takes to bring out the best from that cylinder.

Ok, I understand more now, I got myself a bit confused in the other topic. So the regular one is much more user friendly and still makes big power I just need to make a few mods to the intake and cases. Can you point me into the right direction as to what I need to do to the intake and cases, I and pretty mechanically inclined I'd like to think but I am not against having to send the work out either.

I apreciate your help greatly, Corey

It seems there are no dealers for me to obtain a Yasuni 21 pipe from here in the states :'( . Any ideas?

the only way for you to obtain this pipe is to order it from Europe (Scooter Attack, SIP scooter shop, etc.), i am from the Philippines & i bought this pipe through a friend of mine who ordered it from Europe.

fortunately i have a friend who works for one of the biggest logistics firms in the world so getting these new & cutting edge tuning parts from Europe is now much easier, it's though him that we got the only 2Fast4Race 80cc minarelli kit, crank & pipe in our country.

time to bite the bullet.

Tiba, will the Yasuni 21 make enough torque at 8,000-9,000 to pull the heavy atv out of corners and mud ? thanks for your help.

yes i think so but if you tune the overrange tranny & clutch very well you won't ever go below those rpms. the overrange tranny also gives greater torque multiplication at lower rpms since it has a bigger rear pulley, this is the reason why they made such a rear pulley, to make these peaky motors pull down low.
