MHR Team Minarelli cylinder height

Is the MHR Team cylinder for the 85mm rod on minarelli higher by 5 mm, or the difference is made on the piston pin?
Thank you!

On minarelli engines you don't need a 85mm cranshaft @ MHR Team.

Only the MHR cross needs a 85mm.

The difference between 85 en 80 cylinders is the piston pin.

@ 85mm cylinders the piston pins place is 5mm higher. :)

Correct me i've i'm wrong. :#

Also if you want to use an 85mm crank over a 80mm on a minarelli, all you need is a spacer @ 5mm. Both 80/85 have pro's/con's over them. Either that or you can use a cross piston with the team II cyl then you wouldn't need a spacer =)

there are benefits using a longer conrod especially on a high revving engine, less piston side thrust = less wear on the piston, ring wear would also be reduced but a 5mm spacer is a must if you don't have pistons with shorter compression height but i also find that to be an advantage (using a spacer).
