have rejetted the carb richer & lightened up the rollers for the new pipe? that pipe will sound dull on your 50cc bcoz you have a 50cc. you should be using at least a midrace kit with that pipe.

Come on dude that's probably the worst 'performance exhaust' money can buy...
It's actually a Giannelli Reverse expansion chamber with a malossi silencer. The exhaust is also manufactured at Giannelli.

That wouldn't be so bad ofcourse (Reverse is one of the best exhausts for 50cc) but they also put an internal baffle inside the expansion chamber to make it perform bad. So what you have is a 120 euro Giannelli exhaust with a 'restrictor' inside and a malossi silencer on top. Congrats!!!
The exhaust has been in several dynojet tests and always end up last with exceptionally bad performance.....

Basically the biggest fraud in scooter history.

And no it won't work on 70cc...

Check this out:

Here's the real killer:

(This extremely bad performance is caused by the internal baffle. Look for the spot welds on the belly!)

Holy shit man thanx for the info. Thats really bad though.. How can Malossi do that? And my local dealer sells those Gianelli Reverse exhaust like under half the prise of the MHR Replica. Thats Sick..

But if i buy the Gianelli Reverse now then. Will it be restrictors like that baffle inside? or just a regular one?

And how much top speed can i gain from switch to true Gianelli from MHR?

Well if you buy a regular Reverse you'd get a lot better performance. The Reverse only has a regular small restrictor at the flange.

And why does malossi sell this crap? Because they can. Only the real MHR racing parts are good quality, the cheaper replica and sport parts are mostly garbage or way overpriced.

i don't see how you can say that mate

ok that one item from malossi is sh** but all there other bit work well.

Not counting the MHR line of prof racing products, what other stuff do they sell that's worth you money?

Fly clutch = Overpriced stock clutch
Malossi oil = Overprice Agip
They don't have any decent exhaust for street use
Multivar? Yes yes the most popular variator on the market... However a Power1 variator is half the price, works just as well, gives a higher top speed and is far more wear resistant. Doppler S2BR runs better, more wear resistant and lower price as well. That something is popular doesn't mean it's actually good.
Sport50 cast iron cylinder ? A DR50 kit is half the price and has the same or more power. (Same as TopPerformances50 but without the head).
Sport70 ? DR70 performs the same and is cheaper. Better yet: has more porting reserve.

The list goes on and on. If Malossi didn't have MHR they'd be just like all those other small brands that no-one cares about like parmakit, Turbokit, etc...

Well, many here in norway says that the MHR Replica exhaust is just as good as the Gianelli Reverse. They get exactly the same topspeed (Ive seen video)

Hmm maybe it just needs some other weights or something.
