hey'all!!, thought i might show you some pics of my current project!
i use it everyday to get me to college so the engine mods are kept to a basic.
i am an aprentice car body tecnician so i wanted to experiment a bit with the body work!
setup:
yasuni R
polini superspeed variator with 4,5g rollers
malossi deltacluch with hard springs
17,5mm del'orto carb!
well here it is when i bought it in may:


here is the new exhaust(and a dirty wheel)

here it is in pieces while i do my thing with the panels!

here i started to make a 'custom' back end from fibreglass,

here you can see new handlebars and the top bit smoothed into the front panel:

here i joined the backend to the side panels (which is a bloody bastard to get off!!)

and finally heres a quick fotoshop of how im gonna paint it!

thats it for just now...next on the list is to lower the front by 5cm and raise the rear by 4cm!!should be fun doing stoppies!!

the only orange things will be the wheels, mesh, handgrips and the inside of the seat!!
started to prime some of the panels today....and the paint for the wheels has arrived!!!(lamborghini orange with silver metalflake!!!8P)looks wicked!!

today i gave the wheels their first couple of coats of paint!!!
still needs one or two more, then the lacquer.....but still, here are some pics od the progress !!!

anyway, progress has been slow over the past week or so, had some problems with the paint reacting badly with the lacquer so had to strip it and start again got some new handlebars, seat cover, handgrips and a c/f mirror coming soon so ill post pics when it arrives!!

been busy the past few days, started o strip the paint off the wheels and then realised in looked quite good! so decided to polish the lip and then have the spokes painted in orange!!
tomorrow some new pieces are arriving so ill post pics when they are on the bike!!

finally made some progress this week!!
the lip of the wheel is finally polished!!

the front panel is finished!!

and here is the bike in general!!

the new pieces are arriving on monday due to a strike of somesort!!

also played about with the ride hight and i think it will be like this when i lower it!!

UPDATE:
yesterday was the end of project aerox white'n'orange!!;(
i was driving through town when suddenly a car just pulls out in front of me!! i had nowhere to go but into the side of the car!!!
the bike is a write off.
here are the pics!

i was lucky, all i got was a fractured pelvis and a rather nasty burn on my ass cheek!!lol
i got another project in mind so stay tuned!!

im still waiting for the insurance to tell me what they are going to do, so no progress as far as the bike is concerned!
but still.............iv got some ideas for the next project!!:W

de momento no se que voy a acer con la aerox.....asta que el seguro no me digan algo, que son mas lentos los cabrones!jeje
a mi me parece que tiene el chasis doblada, asik creo que me darian el siniestro total....y espero que me dejaran quedarmela, xq asi meto el motor de aerox en la sonic!! con el subframe ese de kiesler kedara como un dragster de esos to locos!!jeejje
weno, enseñales el bws para que vean como es el tuning español!!jeje
