96cc L/C "UFO" Zuma (Resurrection)

Here can i buy one of those headers? Can any one tell me even ere in europe? The seem to be like the koso kit but normaly i allways see them compleat with reeds, does any one know if they sell it here separatly?

I get what I can over here (poor selection in Canada). I could probably just order the double reds from Bosen. Question of figuring out the right size. But the ones that got me intriged are the V-force ones that Mexicano has.

Juan

You mean this one ?
That's what I had on my old scoot. They are not really Bosen type. But they do have some sort of metal tonges pressing down on the fiberglass reeds. It works very well.
Dave at Stroke It, suggested that I try the single carbon reeds this time. Dave and his friends have a number of racing scooters and mini-ATVs strokers. So his advice always comes from personal experience.

Juan

No, no! I talk about the Boyesen type Koso!

Interesting... You've found a hiden section to his site. At least it is hiden on my browser. Never seen that particular reed cage before.

Juan

my friends out here use the koso maninfold with the v-force, and they like the quick response of the v-force over the koso reed block.

No it's not hidden, look at the bottom menu at the left side of the frame (at the main shop page: http://www.strokeitimports.com/stroke%20it%20imports%20home.htm )

Click to the "Full product lines here" text and you will find it!

If you can't find the menu, here it is the second page:

http://www.strokeitimports.com/dealer/fulllines.htm

I hope you find it!

Update !

A bit more work done.
First the sound system...

8" Sub and bass port.

Just remove four screws for easy access to carb and reeds.

130W Alpine power amp.

The results... 106 db !!!
The equivalent of a jack-hammer but some how... More pleasurable.

And finally. The color shifting paint job.
Same scoot viewed from different angles.

Now. I just have one problem...
What color should I quote for my matricule and insurance papers ??? !!!

http://www.provoscooter.com/vbull/article.php?a=37

it will look like this in the end http://www.provoscooter.com/vbull/vbgarage.php?do=getimage&id=1142

Thanks !
I live in Gatineau just across the river from Ottawa.
My previous scooter had the same kit but with a more restrictive silencer and smaller carb. It could do 120 km/h. And most important it could hold those speeds for hours with out over heating.
We'll see come spring time how fast this one will go.
Nice tail conversion.

Security measures

No scooter is theft proof. But the more obstacles the better...

This lock is for trailler hitches. But works great for locking your
front pannel:

And this mod I advice every one to do. Weld or drill the head of the
machine screw that holds the ignition block to the steering column. If
you can't remove that screw. You can't remove the ignition block. If
you can't remove the ignition block. You can't unlock the steering.

Juan

More security !

Well...
I got me self one of those beeper alarms.
The beauty of it is that if I can't find my keys. All I have to do is
go outside and kick the scooter.

Painted rims

The OEM rims are the only ones that fit the Zuma because the rear drum brakes are larger than standard. So I tried to do the best with what's available. And match painted the rims and polished the edges.

juan i dont think that only the OEM rims fit the bugeye, i think that the aerox 100cc rims would fit that bike. i think they share the same rear axle and rear brake. you should look into some of those.
