First race at israeli's 2006 scooter racing season...

nice lookin bike man, but I have one question for you....why don't you invest in some good racing tires like some Dunlop's or Sava's? I can understand that scooter racing might just be taking off over there, but you'd give yourself a hell of an advantage over the competition if you had some racing compound tires on there. Just my opinion though, good luck.

I think Michelin Pilot is really very good for racing conditions in the 12-13 inch size!
 
I dunno, you guys can yell michelin at me all day long, but the bottom line is, dunlop as a whole manufactures the best racing tires in the world. You won't convince me otherwise. There have been more world superbike and moto gp championships won on Dunlop tires than any other tire in the world. The dunlop 91GP and sava medium soft kick those michelin's ass. If you don't know that yet, try them, and you'll see exactly what I mean.

Dunlop and motogp slow yah role aint won int he top class ever since the 990 4 strokes came out 500 cc nothing could touch it i agree so dont go praising them in small cc catagory yeah they run the shit right now 250, 125 and the late screamers the 500 cc two strokes but get your facts straight world superbike michilen was de shit for the last 5 years or more now pirelli is the spec tire the dunlops for scooters r the shit u is right on that but the michilens and sava's r comparable and people can win on them if they choose to use em. michilens have just been introduced to the ama as a factory effort with the ducati's so offcourse no victories yet but aye im not sayin u wrong papa just dont down a tire u dont use it aint right and i will try em after i burn out my sava's cause over in the netherlands i see them on enough bikes and on the mhr runners and dna's so i guess they must work pretty good. or they just use em cause they cost less or somthing like that i dont know. oh and dont get mad this time

A little use of periods, commas and upper-case letters would go a long way in helping the rest of us read your post, especially the guys using a translator program. :)

Thanks man ;-), the michlin pilot sport is a very good tire, it have excellent
grip until the edges and it can hold many races and trainings, almost
everybody uses it here and it does very good job.
more than that i dont think we have here at israel racing
scooter tires at stock, maybe if you order them ;-)
 
The race... was bad :)

the format was:

warm up. and 2 qualafing races, after these races your position on the
grid is caculated and you go for the final race.

At the first race i was randomly selected to started 10th (out of 11),
and i finished 7th.

At the second qual race i started at 2 position (the oposite).
After few laps in the fast corner in the end of the stright i crashed after
the rider in front of me locked the rear wheel, slided and blocked my line.
i ran over his leg, but both of us will be OK (little bit hury but ok :))

i got up and continud but a strange problem started, the scooter got fuel
and the engine worked very good, but after like 30 seconds the engine
didnt got fuel and stalled, i stopped at the side every thing looks OK, all
tubes are in place nothing seems broken, i gave the aerox kick and continued,
the problem returns and i have to quit and hope for luck in the final race.

We thought we fixed the problem before the race (the carb when out little
bit) but it was something else and i had to quit the race :-(
But that's all sports :)

Do you have different scooter categories, or every scooter race in the same category? Cause I see big 4-stroke scooters too on the pictures!

unfortunatly not, one catagory, till 250cc open.
We know it's not proffesional, but because lake of riders we're unable
to split it to catagories. (we will split to catagoris when will have enough
riders, but 50cc stock catagory will open this year i guess).

Other thing is that 3 other very improved 2 strokers didnt apply to the
race because of personal resons.

The TV was there too, i'll upload the race video when it's ready.

sorry bout that alot to type out and had to go somewhere. It was quicker to type it that way but ill do so next time.
