carbs 30mm

It's almost a fact that a keihin 28 pwk d-slide is an ideal carb. Because when u receive it. U assemble it. And probably it wil drive pretty good.

Kart carbs u need to tune every day.

OKO carbs are keihin replica's.
Only sometimes suplied with 4-stroke 'mixture tubes'.

Mikuni's are good carbs, but rather difficult to tune.

personally i would never choose for a 30mm carb on my scooter, unless you tried the keihin 28mm pwk and you felt it lacked the performance. I have yet to see a scooter wich is limited because of the power there is in the 28mm keihin. So i would forget about the 30mm and get a 28mm or maybe even a 24mm

This is a very nice 30mm flatslide carb from Dell'Orto, the VHSH 30. It's originally designed for 125cc Pavesi engines.

On the right side the Keihin PWK 28, a very often used carb.

It took me quite some time before it was tuned correctly, but now it's going fine...

I have hear tah a 70ccm engine max can use a 28,4mm carb at 14000rpms..

If you use a 30mm carb it will just have the same power as a motor with an 28,4mm??

So i dont see the reason for souch a big carb?

30mm is indeed a little bit to big on my setup, toppower is a little bit less but the powerband is very wide, especially beyond the top power rpm.
