Hehe finally I’ve bought myself a digital camera so I can present my project to you guys…
As many of you guys already know I’ve started a Typhoon125cc project.
I found the scooter via Razma for 500€. It was complete but it wasn’t running. It looked really bad because it had not been taking care of the last 1.5 years but hey I saw some potential in the thing.
I’ve picked it up and started right away with the restauration.
*** english version ***
Already now there are differences between the standard 50cc version which I drove for a long time and the new 125cc version. For example the fuel system. There is an extra fueltank under the board for you feet. It’s controlled by a mechanical fuel pump. Also the subframe is different.
At this moment the whole scooter is broken down in parts. Next Saturday the engine will be @ koopmans.
The rearwheel + suspension is stuck so it has to be removed with professional equipment
Future: I’m not completely sure what I’m planning to do with this thing. He must become very special offcourse but it has to be reliable also. So mild tuning for the cylinder and carters are a possibility.
Exhaust: Polini 4 race 125cc
carbu: 22 mm dell orto
filter: Probably a filter in the helmet compartment but this is still under consideration.
In optical way the monoseat may not be missing offcourse + maybe bcd lightunit.
I probably will fit a paoili fork because this one is really worn down.
First thing I have to do now is prepare the frame to let it be powdercoated and clean the engine.
Under you see some pic’s of the cylinder and engine already polished and cleaned up by koopmans.

De cilinder is al betoverd 8P 8P
The cylinder has been touched by magic.
If you guys have any ideas please don’t hesitate to PM me.
Deadline is meeting lelystad...
SPECIAL THANKS 2: Razma voor haar infrastructuur, Fred Koopmans, MOL, JOOR,...
