Hey, me and a friend are constructing a sprint frame, we're doing okay on the calculations, but we've sort of hit a wall.
Before designing the front end as well as the rest of the frame we need to find out what front wheel we want to use.
So therefore we would like to hear about your experiences
Have any of you tried to use a wheel from a bicycle on your sprinters (we are talking self made sprint frames here, like the JS tuning sprinter e.g.)? How is the stability?
I Saw it on the SA 2fast sprinter this summer, but they were talking about some stability problems. But i never found out whether it was the changed frame geometry (as i understood it they made it a little shorter) or the small bicycle wheel that caused it.
Any feedback would be nice
And now that I'm at it i have another question: When you calculated the dimensions what was the weight of the driver?
