rules about 70cc???

im going to be 16 soon, and i plan to get a 70cc TP due for my bike but i dont know if i need a license, and what license a 70, 125 or can i just use my 50. i live in spain, so can anyone help me?

i don't think it's a real problem in spain (and also italie) if your bike doesn't go 45 km/h. however, here you aren't allowd to drive a 70cc with your 50cc certificat. when you turn 18 you can get your smal-bike-license with wich you can drive any bike up to 26kw +ralf+ 9||6

That's not true we can't drive any bike we can with a driving license!

The bike needs to be homologated as a motorcycle with papers etc, and insurance like a motorcycle.

So it's silly to say you can drive any bike, because a scooter with papers of being a moped, still gives problems, altough you got a driving license... :S

Indeed , a scooter may not go faster then 45 km/u over here , no matter what license you have

I'm glad I don't have to deal with that crap... I'm licensed and good to go... the only thing is where I move in the states... some states are pains with modded anything... I can see emissions headaches in some places...
