Hi I got an DR 70 cylinder ( It has been honed to 47,6mm). Now it has 1 ring piston. I have a question that, what would be a good exhaust for that cylinder and how can I handle my carburettor (12mm) , do I need a bigger one, or not ?

Thanks.

I should go for a 21 m.m. carb.

Aloha, I would go with a 21mm carb but I think a Shot would be too much pipe. The DR is a pretty low powered sports cylinder, so maybe a Gianelli Extra or the all around Yasuni R. But I would flatten the exhaust port at the top to get a stronger chamber pulse. Right now the stock DR is quite oval or round and has a weak pulse and small exhaust window during blowdown timing. frank
