Aerox Front Master Cylinder

Hi ya

I had a crash middle of the year and just recovered an injury. I am trying to get my Aerox back on the road. I need a new Front Master Cylinder as mine is worn and the brake light remains on all the time. Yes I have a new switch.

Anyway can I buy either a 50cc or 100cc front master cylinder. Arent they both the same. Or do you have to buy the correct one for the CC.

Thank you as I am new to mechanics as I am a girlie.

Hi,
sorry to hear about your injury but happy that it's getting better!
About the master cylinder: I am not quite sure I understand what you mean. Do you mean the brake lever with fluid tank, or the caliper on the brake disk? For the lever and fluid tank you can use any. You just have to make sure that the fluid hose eyes match (usually 10 or 12mm diameter).
For the caliper it's pretty much the same. Most will work! Stage6 offers spare ones and even some racing ones with 4 pistons, also for just 100Euros.

Best,
Daniel
