Wats up everyone Im about to take the engine case apart to polish and clean the crank case abit and was looking for a few pointers or tips.
Intake
1. I was thing about taking the floor of the intake a 1mm to even it out and make it smooth. Should I polish the intake or leave it rough after I take it down.
2. Also I was thinking about taking 2mm or 3mm off the top of both channels to even it out and clean it up. Also take the top forward about till its eveninline with the bridge.
3. Since a 24mm flatside is going on the setup I was thinking if the intake's diameter isn't big enough to accommodate the carb take the sides out till each channel equals 12mm².
Carters
1. The first thing I was of was fixing where the trasfer port meets the carter up in the top left corner. If I were to go about taking it out and down to the floor would it cause turbulance when air/fule mixes from the intake?
2. I've seen alot of people filling thoes holes in with green stuff. What exactly is it called and should I do it? What are the gains?
3. Simply match the rear transfer to the MHR Replica boot port.
Thats my plan for now but feel free to leave advice on improving project
