carb/intake ect.

ok,i have a chinese scooter. i have a 100cc bbk ordered along with racing cdi,race coil. now my questions; stock carb is 18mm. could i just rejet that or would a larger carb definatly be needed? also for some reason i have a 22mm intake laying around,should i use that? does intake and carb size need to match? thatll do for now, thanks
