HELP PLEASE GUYS!!!!!!!!!!

I have a aprilia sonic 2 stroke 50 and i want to get rid of my air box completely and put a nice K&N air filter on it or something and was wondering if there was any thing else i need to do apart from up or down jet the carburetor? and by how much?

it has standard 90 main jet at the moment!

Its hard to tell how much you have to go up as every filter is different.

Change the filter,start your bike and take a quick go at max throttle,than u make an emergency brake and stop the bike,(take the engine so quick as possible off).
Than you screw the spark plug out and look beneath it...if its very dark(black) yo need to jet down...if its very bright(white) you need to jet up.

When its brown,you can be pretty sure its well adjusted....Later on you can adjust the lower jet etc...

buy a jet box and put the biggest jet in its always best to work ur way down and everytime you put a jet in go for a little drive then check the sparkplug
