Help me learn about my scooter

Hello all,

Almost 3,000km ago I bought this 125cc scooter, compared to other scooters and motorbikes I owned, this one is nearly perfect. Currently I work and live in Beijing, China. The local government created a lot of restrictions for the two wheelers, for example biggest _legal_ motorbike engine you can find here is 250cc, while biggest scooter is only 150cc. Having a car in this city is a pain in the "back", even with OK gas prices.

My scooter does surprisingly well, I can easily maintain a speed of 95-100kph (uphill 90-95) (checked with friend's car, and my speedometer is showing about 5% faster), and have enough acceleration. The problem for me is the small acceleration drop between 40 to 50kph.

It's a Suzuki scooter with Japanese parts assembled in China. This scooter have a lot of different names, like Vecstar, AN125, VS125 and mine: HS125T or Neptune (HaiWangXing - 海王星 in Chinese)

Here's what I know about the version I own:
Length x Width x Height 1910 x 685 x 1095 mm
Wheel Base 1300 mm
Net Weight 129 kg
Ground clerance 120 mm
Displacement 124 ml
Bore x Stroke 52 x 58.6 mm
Compression Ration 10.2:1
Maximum Power 6.7kw / 12 hp @ 7500rpm/min
Spurk Plug NGK CR6E

And I'm not sure about the following:
Carburetor Main Jet: 95
CVT Belt 760 18.9 30
Carburation: Mikuni BS26SS

What I wanted to do first was check exhaust pipe but it was not restricted, so I decided next will be the spark plug - but it's in perfect brown old-yellowish sand color, so now I'm thinking about installing free-flow air box (k&n?).

The only problem is I can't recognize some of the parts/cables/tubes going to/from the current air box and other places. So this is where I need your help The other problems are: I'm working on the bike under my apartment building and the bike is very hard to open up (to reach carb) and so far I'm not even sure I can reach cylinder...

Below are the images with numbers on those things I don't recognize.

Thanks!

Do you have some better pictures of nr5 and where the hoses attachted to 5 are going to?

No 4. seems to be the air hose for getting air to your airbox.

No. 4 is coming from under the seat compartment... very strange.

I Will take better pictures of 5 and others tomorrow morning (it's 3 pm here)

I forgot about one more:

11 is coming from the air box. ?

Ok, so this is what I found out:

5 - is a second air injection system. all the tubes connected to it (1,6,7,8) are moving air.

Bas is right about number 4.

Now the biggest problem for me to understand is number 11 (same as number 2) coming from air filter and going to cylinder's head. Any guesses?

And another question, carbs with electric connection to it to move some "door", any idea what is this about?

I don't speak Chinese that much so it's kinda hard to guess what people tell em

Thanks

Can't 11 be the air or fuel moving to the injector on the cilinderhead? If it's located on the exit of the carburator, it's the "vacuum" hose. THe carb with an electric connection is for the electric choke, it makes your engine run slightly better when it's cold.

same scooter Hangzhou

Hi Spaiz, I have the same model scooter but it has a rear brake pedal on the floor. Know anything about that? Guess it's an older model. Do you know where the date stamp is? Have you had any luck getting a manual.
Yeah they are great bikes; had the 150cc before but it got stolen, so bought this yesterday.
