Dellorto Carb Question

the top 2 is the gas and air vaccuum.

GET OUT OF HERE.

Talk about putting people on the wrong track.... :|

These aren't vacuum connectors (what the hell is a Gas/Air Vacuum anyways?)
These are the VENTING/OVERFLOW pipes of the float chamber.

Alright cool. I love how they put the oil connection on the other side of the carb compared to the stock one.

Thanks Folkert

Its cool. We bought some new hose that is longer and it we got it to work.

Im pretty sure im gonna have to drill some kind of holes in my stock air box. What side do i drill them on?

have a look at the air box and see what side the air is sucked in thought and drill the holes in the same side as it.

...which is the back side of the air box: when standing on the airbox side of your scooter, the part you're looking against (the cover) is NOT the part to drill.

It of course can be drilled, but the air entering through these holes will not be filtered.

UFO has (had?) a nice aftermarket airbox cover with holes pre-drilled and an extra filter, so air entering on that side was also filtered.

Ok so i got it all installed. It will not start unless i spray some starter fluid in the carb. I had it idling last night but today it wont idle at all.

any ideas on whats wrong?
