Carburator for Runner 172ccm

I've got a Gilera Runner SP 50 wich I'm fitting a 180 engine with the malossi 172 kit on. I have also Stage 6 V-force reed-valves and a Kundo exhaust system. But I wonder if my carburator is a bit big, it's a Dellorto PHBH 28mm. Is there anybody out there who has an opinion about this?
