C20 On Stage6 Racing AC (Tuned)

Like the headline says

The setup on my Aprilia Sonic AC will be:

-Stage6 Racing AC (Tuned)
-Doppler Crank Shaft
-Malossi Multivar
-Malossi Delta Clutch
-Dell'Orto 21mm
-Malossi E5

Is the C20 overkill? :?

Would Polini EVO 2 (03' version) perform better?

are planning on using it for the street? or purely for sprint (drag) racing?

for the street i'd go with Biohazard as the pipe is tuned for lower rpm's where torque is more important, the C20 is best suited for tuned cilinders with 14,000+ rpm capability but sadly though your AC set-up won't last because of the excessive heat build-up at those rpm's.

BTW EVO2 exhaust is also a very good streetable exhaust.

should you convert to LC then it's another story.

why not c20 ? it totally depends on how the cilinder is tuned...

for example: my evo70 tuned with bida c20 had 18.3 pk @ 13200 rpm !!!

How much will it have to be tuned, to go with C20?

Does anyone have a portmap of Stage6 Racing AC?

his scooter is AC & you have LC so he needs a pipe with a strong mid-range torque & wide powerband like EVO1 or EVO2 uitlaat. if he gets C20 his powerband will become peaky & narrow, it will operate at a higher rpm which is not good for AC under street use.

Molix i suggest you go ahead with the EVO2 exhaust, torque is more important for street use.

we just had a pretty big topic about it @ the "tuning algemeen" Forum, where the conclusion was that they were not only cheaper in price, but also in quality...

That's my opinion too. The C20 works at too many RPMs, so unless you tune it up further, i'd pick a Jolly Moto (for more torque) or a C16

BTW im going to get a STAGE6 RACING and not going to tune it...should EVO 70 exhaust be GR8 for me then...? (or else what exhaust?)

Here is a mail form SA about the subject:
Hi
Didb't know hebo hi racing was listed among the highend parts, don't
really think that's were it belongs. Can't say it's in the same league
as a manston racing, mhr team, polini evo. So I think the hebo is wrong,
not the stage6. hi racing and stage6 racing are both made by Athena, but
they are not identical, port timing is slightly different. Not enough to
make them entirely different though. Power should be around 12bhp, if
everything is done properly.
