best spring combinations for 70cc mina kits.

based on your experiences, what spring combinations (clutch and center springs) can you advice for track and sprint use on a minarelli 70cc kit?

it depends on what parts you got & how it is tuned. care to list what you got?

actually im just starting to gather and purchase my set.

here are my parts:

stage 6 r/t crank
malossi 70cc lc kit
stage 6 viton reeds
9:1 rear ratio
24 to 28 mm carb
c21 yasuni
stage6 inner rotor
malossi OR set with delta clutch

well since you got the Malossi OR kit it already comes with the correct center spring for it, if it's a minarelli then it's the red spring, for piaggio it's the blue or violet spring.

as for the delta clutch buy the MHR clutch spring set & test which spring & weight settings will work best for you, judging from your set i'd say start with the blue clutch springs.

thanks tiba. is the blue clutch spring the stiffest/softest ? any rpm range idea on that?

red is softest, black hardest

refer to the delta clutch manual for rpm range of the clutch springs
