Barikit Racing crankshaft

What do you think about Barikits products? It's not as known brand as polini or malossi and only few people have got their products... I bought Barikit Racing crankshaft recently and I want to know your opinions about Barikit. http://www.barikit.com/ ---> barikits site.

I know the make replacement parts. But never heard of their racing products.

There is a pdf catalogue on barikits site. Catalogue code of my crankshaft is 02362 :]

But never heard of their racing products.

I'm from poland and I live next to the main importer of barikit. There is a lot of barikits products on the www.skuter-plus.pl (polish site)

No to good a quality those pics indeed...

But how does the inside look? Is it 'full'? If you look at a original crank and compare it to a crank like polini/malossi; the main difference is that there is something in the middle (don't know the right english word: kunststof tussen de krukaswangen).

Also racing crank's often have a silver bigend, so it can take on higher RPM's.

If the inside of your crank is hollow, I wouldn't use it for a racing setup

I think it is a good crankshaft Barikit does not make horrible stuff. If you can buy it for a reasonable price. Buy it!


Do you perhaps know what kinda carburettors they sell ? I mean is their
24mm a Mikuni/OKO/Koso ?

Inside is "full" :] On polish site, www.skuter-plus.pl, it is written that Barikit Racing crankshaft can stand up to 15000rpm, so it is rather resistant...

If you can buy it for a reasonable price. Buy it!

I've already done it The new one costs about 108 euros (it is written in catalogue) but I paid only 95 for new one

I think the Doppler Endurance should be alot better for that price(102 eur). Although the Barikit mite seem nice, I dont think it will hold up a Racing cylinder.
