Yamaha DT50 - DT80 Tuning

You are talkink about DTLC with Minarelli engine, not the DT Yamaha engine that looks like the RD one.
I think it's possible to fit a DT80LC Yamaha engine (55mm to get 100cc from Polini or Italkit) in the RD frame but RD's in here are not like DT's so I can't confirm you that thought.

Looks like The DT50 - 80 & RD50 - 80 with yamaha (squar cylinder shape) motors are the same shape and would all fit in one frame.

The differens are:
From AC to LC the rigth cover of the engine are different. LC have waterpump there.

From 50cc to 80cc the crank is different...

Hi -all iv a dt50mx and had to put new cylinder piston and rings on it 43mm bore was all I could get at time does any one no what reed valves I will need for it and were to get them
