I just got my new Tecnigas RS70 to my Speedfight LC from Scooter-Center but the bracket that holds the exhaust have the holes way off, and my waterpump is in the way so i cant get the exhaust to go against the cylinder 100%

i have taken som pictures when i was trying to mount it:

And i have allredy try to mount the bracket to en engine first and then to the exhust but i get the same problem, all i do i moving around the problem so to speak.

My question is, is my exhaust faulty (some dude made a misstake when they welded the exahust?) or do i have the wrong model?
it says Speedfight on the box.

It´s really a typical thing with cheap Tecnigas exhausts. I have not yet seen a Next-R or TEK which connects perfectly onto a Minarelli or Piaggio engine - and I have mounted and seen others mount these exhausts a lot (more than 10). I would say that this exhaust is not a faulty one, but it just connects retardedly. Try to get it nice and tight at the cylinder, then make some spacers or what ever to make the side parts connect nicely. The only important thing is that it does not leak and fall off.

And people, don´t buy Tecnigas exhausts, work nicely but are very poorly built and designed (except None ;) )

Greets xz...

OK so even if i get a replacement exhaust it will be the same "crap" ?
the problem is i cant get it "nice and tight" against the cylinder because the waterpump is in the way!

I have to cut the part of by the cylinder and weld it into the right position but i cant do that because the exhaust is chrom and i dont want to damage it.

I don´t know LC Peugeot´s that well. Can´t you just buy some kind of different water pump cover or make small adjustment to it. Do not weld it to the cylinder - due to the tensions created something will brake since it has no play room at all that way.

there is no other waterpump, so i cant do anything else but change the exhaust to another model, maybe RS-II ?

and remind me to never get tecnigas again!
