Piaggio malossi vs Pm tuning

Hey, I'm wondering which of the two 172cc cylinder kits is better, the malossi or the Pm tuning Pro Street 2 kits for the Piaggio?.....thanks

i would probably go with the PM tuning cylinder, i believe it would be ported better, plus PM tuning tend to spend more time with those bigger cylinders

I was leaning more with the pm kit aswell, since it comes complete with the skull cap....but I've been looking for someone that's running one and all I see is people with the malossi kits....so there is were my question comes from...

Tuning your stock Gilardoni 176 barrel is the best option, combined with a custom inner head with raised compression. And this is also the cheapest way to go.

is that right? i've never seen a gilardoni put out over 25horses.

if so, it would nuts to buy a malossi or pm cilinder ofcourse

The malossi cylinder is also just a aluminum with an oval exhaust port. And this exhaust port is not very tunable.

In Germany they push way over 30 ps with a tuned Gilardoni barrel...

It's the original barrel mounted by Piaggio! So you can easily order it at any scooter shop when you don't have it already, for example:

This one is already modded to fit a 125 engine.

I got a casing from a runner fxR and its missing a few parts , I would like to put together

I think 68mm is the biggest bore for LC unless you want to weld up the bottom.
