Zumaman

2005 Aerox Zuma
Hello all. My name is Axton. I live in North Carolini. I used to own a decked-out Yamaha Zuma, but sold it out in parts to buy this new scooter.

For starters I have the following mods;
ECU de-restriction
Vario washer removal
Exhaust restrictor removal.

I am going to eventually get a malossi 70cc kit with a new ECU card from Aprilia. I will have tons more pics soon!

Nice sr zumaman that's good you deresitrcted the ecu and the variator washer good work. You will be surprised how a sr can go with those things derestricted. What speed did you top it out at so far? Malossi is a great choice for a 70cc kit. Good luck with your project keep up the good work.

I actually haven't rode it yet. I had an oral surgery. (wisdom teeth removal) I cant ride while on meds. I will ride it this weekend. Should do about 60mph.

Bike is great. I have 400 miles on it and have added spoilers, sidestand, Arrow pipe, custom mudflap, and am getting a sports windshield soon.

Nice job so far zumaman everything else is good on your bike how is that arrow pipe working for you but the spoilers are great like on yours the have a great custom look and the side stand has a sportbike look to it and what was your top speed on it so far?:)

I haven't installed the arrow yet. it needs a new gasket. I had it up to 52mph. I'll get a pic of the digi speedo if you dont believe me. It saves max times. :)

52 mph you say..... thats very good you might get even more speed if you change the rollers too but how did you blow the gasket? I know the sr saves max times too so the sr is a sure winner sr's for life! :winner:

I got the pipe for $50 used. The rollers are 7g. The dealer put them in when i got it.

Sorry for the late reply, but I'll get more pics tomorrow after I clean it. :)

$50 bucks..... not a bad deal on the arrow pipe which dealer did you go to to install them in?

Dude, for the Pia engine with a performance pipe 5.5-6.0g rollers are usually perfect. You are running way to heavy rollers.
They may fit for going longer ends but for the city - 5.5-6.0 is optimal with a stock vario.

According to xtremepowersportsusa the dealer website you gave it said free derestriction on a 2007 sr factory damn! But what happend to the oil tank?

Yep. It was free. :)

All SR50 oil tanks have a defect where they crack by the sensor. It was free under warranty though.

Not 100% sure yet. I am deciding as I go along.
I want to make it look exotic, but still be known as an SR. Thinking about a 70cc kit in the future.
