Jog will not idle, dies out.

Recently purchased a 94 Yamaha Jog. It ran fine for a few weeks. Then a few days ago I was at a stoplight and it completely died on me. I was able to get it started and home. But only by keeping on the throttle as it would not idle, just die. On the way home it would not accelerate above 25mph. Now it will not start at all. Fuel delivery system, pump, filter, lines, carb are all clean.

already checked your sparkplug?

Clean your jets. Replace your sparkplug with a new one. Check if the ground-cable is still properly connected. See if nothing has gotten stuck in the airfilter intake
