german custom sprint sr

first @ all, please excuse my bad english^^

everything began witz an Aprilia SR 50 DITech Diablo Black modell 2001
for a 14 year old boy who never driven a scoot bevor this was an amazing machine :D
after few weeks some optical changes were made but no big things because of the german police who controls very oft scooters in our region

the first little accident happened as is drove an adjustable air filter on a ditech engine because of this my engine was "fluted" by water on a rainy day^^

after this crash i had to buy me a new compressor und use the original airbox again but the scooter had few problems with starting after this repairs


after my 18. birthday I throw everything of de ditech shit out of the scooter and start to build up an sprint scoot based on an piaggio engine which fits without further problems into the frame
then I cleaned and painted the frame new

putting an piaggio engine with en nrg rim into the frame und voilá nearly ready^^

to complete the engine some other funny and "cheap" parts have to get to the engine

only thing missing at this stadium was the exhaust but the r1400 was harder to get than an nuclea bomb
so I build my own one out of paper which won't work so good because it was build to short xD

finally I got my exhaust and the first run was near

setup was:
S6sp *portet*
Malossi HPC crank
r1400
28er S6 R/T carburator
selfmade Intake
Malossi Mhr reed valve
Malossi Ignition
Malossi ORK
S6 clutch and glock
after massive problems with the coolung , the timings of the cylindre and much more other little things my scoot got nearly 6 hours bevor I drove to the scooterweekend 07 ready.
but on the way to hockenheim my cooling water take a trip to my exhaust where it feeled much more comfortable it seemed than in the cooling system^^
fixing this problem costed me the whole night and finally enginebolts broke and I had no others with me
next day I bought rapidly everything I needed and screwed everything back together so that I got 15minutes bevor the sprints started ready!
my time on this day was like the whole weekend not faboulus, it was an 9,03 and after 3 sprints an one round on the racetrack the cylindre said goobye -.-

after scooterweekend I taked a long pause because of school but then the preparations for scooterweekend 2008 began:

electical waterpump von Webasto
even my vario lid broke and my crankshaft bearings dont work again so I wasn't able to drive

possibly these are the last pictures of this scoot, because I had always problems with the engine and most people even don't recognize the scoot so It wouldn't be missed I think

ofcourse you would be missed if you stop.
maybe you don't get the kind of respect you hoped for, but u personally think you have to give yourself the respect because you've made the scooter the way it is right now.
but of you don't like spending so much time in it ofcourse you can stop but that's a whole other story ofcourse.
i personnaly think your SR looks really nice.
what kind of problems you are mentioning in your last post?
every problem can be solved ofcourse...
 
Update!

so guys
few days until german Customshow in Saarbrücken and today a mail arrived me that my SR will be there!!
whole scooter will first be seen on the 28. of februar in saarbrücken but i decided to upload some preview exclusive @ scooterforum.net, so I would prever if I don't find the following pics in every other forum expecially on german pages...
so, enough said, here are the pics:

I love the combo.
Exclusive pics?XD I ve seen them on other forums long time before ^^.
Are you going to keep the engine ?or change it to minarelli?
 
only one pic was uploaded at scooter-attack but the others shouldn't be in any other forum :P

and yes, I will keep the engine as it is, because the whole subframe etc is constructed for piaggio and I'm right now buildung up an Zip SP for s6-cup and don't want to change to a complete new engine where I have to buy all parts new.
nex evolution will maybe be a R/T Zylinder but first I will get everything I can out of this cylindre ;)

14 days before the customshow the sr is 90% ready :)
I only have to put some clearcoat on two front parts and polish everything
also I will get my seat cover this week back from my embroider

how did you get the engine to fit because i am thinking about doing the same thing becuase i have an old runner engine which i may put in.
And also what shock are you using ??

after customshow köln I woul make some besser pics with a nice background from all sides of the scooter so you will also see that the shockbreaker has gone ;)
