What do you guys think of the s3r?
It looks like a good idea with no rollers but how does it perform?
How does it compare to speed control and s2r?

I have the S2BR myself on minarelli. I think it's a major improvement on the existing Malossi / Polini varios. You should compare it to the EVO and MHR varios, not the normal 'sport/speedcontrol'.

-More durable, very resistant to wear
-Cheap
-Big size (19*15.5mm) rollers
-quite stable
-very large diameter > high top speed.

I always thought that an s3r was a exhaust (I have one myself?)

thanks but i meant the new s3r variator, look at the picture, its the one with no rollers!
