Derbi Atlantis 70cc buy or not to buy question

Found a used one I liked. Just had the engine rebuilt and its a 2002 with 6,000 miles on it. Wants about 600 for it but I was going to ask lower due to the year and miles put on it. Think that is a good price or am I in the wrong? Don't know a lot about them.. Hoping to learn here

$600 USD?!? That's a pretty good price already. Derbi makes a very good scooter. Engine parts will not be much trouble to find, but your body parts and whatnot will be kind of tough if you're here in the States.

Do you know if it has the Derbi engine, or the Piaggio one?

If I had the cash, I'd go for it. Stay away from China junk.

I believe its the Derbi engine but I'm pretty sure he put the kit on it to make it 70cc. I'm trying to finalize the deal. I'm glad you said the engine parts would be easy to find.. Can you direct me where I could locate them? I've done some searching on the web but can't find a good dealer for them. Yes, I am in the states.
