Well, i have to ask this queation since i also saw this in an TKR projekt.

Why is it that you use an piaggio cylinder, how do you get water into the cylinder when the water inlet origanaly goes trough the cartes.

I personally would (and probertly will) chose an minarelli cylinder for my peugeot, since there are water inlet hub just like and an peugeot LC cylinder.
And the lenght of the stroke is even the same within 0,01mm which should be fixed with with squish gaskets.
