Aprilia Rally fuel economy

I recently bought a used 2003 Aprilia Rally 50. It is derestricted and goes ~50mph. I recently changed the spark plug, put in new oil, and cleaned the air filter. I am getting around 70MPG at an elevation of ~5000feet. Is this about what I should expect? I recently noticed the 2008 Yamaha Zuma (50cc) being advertised as getting an EPA estimated 123mpg (also a 2-stroke). This is a big difference from my 70mpg. Why is this and is there anything I can do to increase my MPG with my current Rally?

Thanks!!!

first of all you are derestricted which decreases economy, i think at 70mpg you are doing very well for yourself, i get no more than 55mpg frommy ped, and i am approx 500feet above sea level

the zuma may boast 123 because it is standard and the test would not have been carried out in higher altitudal conditions
