Hi all,
Need some info on a 05 aerox - need to know the easiest way to get to the carb and what main jet it has of standard, I get a hebo pipe but lost all power once fitted so am sure I need to up jet it!

If you know the easiest way to get to it and what is currently there it would be a great help!

:D

Easiest way to get to the carb is to take of the airfilter box. Then you can work on the carb.

Don't know which carb the '05 version has, but I doubt it's a dell'orto...

Ok got somewhere!

Stripped the bike down and found the jet - is currently 62, bloke told us to go to a 72 its a Gurtner carb.

Sound like decent advice anyone?

these are main jets for Peugeot etc. , 72 should be enough ,i think that evn 68 will be enough with the Gurtner..

but further you'll need to change the roller in you variator , de adjuster spring and clutch springs to set your variator system to the exhaust rpm's..

Yep rollers and a new belt are my next bits - bike has slower acceleration at the min, something i think the rollers will fix.

Top end it can go near on 60 tho, very nice pipe will hopefully get some speedo pics :)
