Hello,
now I want to present my scoot in this forum. I come from Germany so please forgive me that I have
to speak English (which is also not the best ). I drive scooters almost for 5 years, worked also for Scooter-Attack,
but in 2 weeks I have to go for 9 months to the army ...
Some years ago I´ve bought an Aprilia SR50 www, which is air cooled. I´ve tuned it more and more after a time, at first only with
sport parts like Top Trophy cilinders, Tecnigas exhausts... after some time I switched to mid race with TOP Nardo exhaust and so on, was an
exciting feeling at that time .
Last year I´ve decided to build up a Sprint Scoot, which is liquid cooled.
Unfortunately I didn´t think about to buy a piaggio engine, I´ve decided to take my Minarelli engine.
At first I wanted to take a Polini EVO cilinder but after a time a thought about the MHR Speed cilinder.
I´ve bought all parts and after some weeks I had them here at home.
I had also a second Minarelli engine for my scoot of a Malaguti F12, which was at this time fixed under my scoot.
I took my original engine and brought some parts to Koopmans, which is 300km far away from here. At home I´ve prepared everything for my project.
The exhaust is chromed, some parts polished, a friend made frame bars of V2A steel for me, some parts were painted and so on...
Last week I was at Koopmans on the dynojet and had around real 18 PS, perhaps I can achieve 18,5-19 PS in the near future but it is Minarelli, not Piaggio...
So this is my setup at the moment:
MHR Speed cilinder stage 5 fkt
Carters stage 3 fkt
Engine prepared for Overrange
MHR crankshaft
MHR Overrange KIT
MHR Delta Clutch
MHR Wingbell
MHR Air Filter
MHR Innenrotor
Mikuni TM 24 carburateur
Yasuni C20 exhaust
+16% gearing
TOP gearingcap
Short Tommaselli gasgrap
and some little parts...
In future there will be also a AIM digital revolution counter
Which optic-parts are at the scoot you can see on the pics which I will comment a little bit
This was my scoot 2 years ago, looks very original
Thats how he was summer 2002, some optik parts were there and a little bit mid race stuff, but air cooled
Then my parts followed
My old Mikuni TM 28 carburateur, i switched to the Mikuni TM24 because I thought it would be better
Some parts were chromed
Some parts are polished
Preparing the project, build out the F12 engine
Meeting at Koopmans with some parts
My MHR Speed engine stage 5 fkt
Here is the carburateur and Overrange Kit also inside
So I put the engine with a friend under the scoot, the front-rim is of a benelli and the back-rim of a F12, only to test the weekend
The other parts were painted
After some days, i put the first painted parts at the scoot. The black/blue lacquer is from BMW, the other is neon-orange.
I installed the back-rim, looks nice
Some new parts arived 3 weeks ago
My frame bars and painted TNT optic part
RS24 and MHR Air Filter
Oversize Braking
right side of the scoot
MHR Innenrotor is installed
Last week at Koopmans
See ya in heaven
Little Video on the dynojet... 18 PS now, on Koopmans dynojet 23 PS
