Have just installed on Aerox, takes off perfect, idles perfect but if wanting to run at half throttle, engines starts to stutter so to speak, on full throttle is fine no problems only happens on half throttle, it seems to be getting to much fuel.
My question is could the problem be cured by the mixture screw or is it the needle?
The little ring on the needle is currently set on the 2nd notch down from the top, does it need to go up or down for less fuel?

Muchos Help Appreciated

the air screw is very similar to the needle it jsut effects different throttle position

for a leaner mixture you must screw in the air screw

dude, try this first please. take your carb, screw the air/fuel screw all the way in and then a turn and a half back out. with the bike on the stand, and the back wheel off the ground, run the bike at half throttle and back that screw out until it stops sputtering. Try it and you'll see. If it's still doing it, then take the clip to the next settin down, but if the bike runs fine at wide open throttle, you shouldn't need to adjust the pin setting.

Curiousity has got the better of me, unfortunately an over enthusiastic parent just trying to "help" has snapped a casting which the air box screws too off the engine case, oh goody.
Yeah right ive moved the clip down and have wound the screw almost all the way out, but still it just doesnt feel right, problem is the screw is in such an awkward place, with the wheel off the ground it doesnt have the same affect as when riding so im having to ride, stop, adjust, ride, stop, adjust, etc. ive now screwed it back in and put the clip to the 3rd notch on the pin, doesnt seem to be right though still.
Anyone have any clues.
Cheers
Sam
