16/40 gears

I'm currently running 14/42 gears. Good takeof and accel, top speed of around 120Km.
But I got these Malossi 16/40 in a parts swap. Should my 96cc LC be able to push them? Any experiences with such tall gears ?

on the bws, most ppl experience slower acceleration with a lil bit on the top end. if u combine the gears with a malossi OR, then they should work great
