Gerhold ...made in Germany 5 February 2009 #2 there is no difference so the fork from the old sp fits in the new frame.
jorick dotcom 7 February 2009 #4 they are not the same (different lenght, the '98 model is much shorter: so is the shockabsorber) but it will fit without modifications.
