Wich welds?

Hey SF.net

I See that some exhausts are welded with tin, or something like it, is that true?

I´m planning to weld mine with TIG, but if i can weld it with tin then i will be much easier to do. It dont meld again(the tin) when the exhaust gets warm?

do it with tig, tin won't last for long it will melt in the heat

What is the silver in the welding then? On the picture.

Tin melt around 230°C so it's no good idea

it's from the lasergun and the 1mm stick that you use to tig
