Varietor Question

What kind of engine has the Aprilia SR 2000?, Mina?, Morini?

I was told this scoot has a morini engine and It's varietor is DIFFERENT from a Minareli varietor...is this right?

I'm still trying to get a TJT varietor, I found one for Aprilia SR2000, they told me it is 16 m.m. splines, but Won't fit my Mina engine...so I'm confused.

I will appreciate any help.

The VAriator is very different than minarelli. I just had one in my hand a few minutes ago.

The rollers are very big and it looks more like a Gilera Runner 180. (At least the Polini variator is ). frank

Well...I don't mind about the roller size, for example: Stock Yamaha BW's 100 varietor uses 15 x 12 m.m. rollers and the Malossi Varietor for this bike uses 19 x 15.5 m.m. rollers.

I know for sure that this TJT varietor for Aprilia SR 2000 (morini engine) has a 16 m.m. spline, just like my JOG90 style varietor, but Chris at scooter center told me this morini varietor are very different from minareli varietors, but I would like to know HOW different they are..where are those differences...why they can't be used on a mina engine.....
