Hi guys!

Do you know if a TJT Carrera Competition varietor from Aprilia SR 2000 is a good one????...I was told this TJT is for 16 m.m. splines but I'm wondering if would fit my Vento Triton R4i and if this TJT worths the money?..it is about $105.00 Euro. in Germany!!

Thanks,

I don't know the TJT vario for MInarelli, but the TJT for Piaggio is much more better than the Malossi MHR vario, better quality, lighter and has a better performance.

why dont take a malossi or polini ?

Why use malossi or polini? Maybe the TJT will perform better...it does not hurt to try, seems like everybody's answer for everything is malossi. Mexicano: I have experience with that TJT variator, and as far as I am concerned it is the best one I have seen so far. As you may know, it has an inner bearing which allows better performance than the traditional solid smooth surface (where the slider inserts) like the other variators have, Just make sure you lubricate the inner bearing with dry lube regularly, the inner bearing is also replaceable. I've been meaning to ask euroscooters about replacment bearings, maybe you can ask around or contact them, they may ask you for a picture of the bearing, because it is hard to explain..but if you can get your hands on them, that variator will last for a good while, the performance is worth it :)

I agree with you...Why Always Malossi or Polini???...let's try TJT this time!!!

Thanks for your coments,

I was told today that the TJT varietor available is for a Morini water cooled engine and do not fit my CPI type air cooled engine, even BOTH are 16 m.m. splines, do you know why?????

Thanks,

I am interested in getting a TJT variator for a minarelli with a 16mm spline.

How did this work for you and where could I find one?

thanks
