This is my first post, so please be gental....

I just got my technigas exhaust. And i am feeling pretty dumb.
What are these brass rings for?
Also there is a bigger ring that is made out of some kind of metal? Maybe some kind of restriction?
Any help would be great.

Thanks

Well in my technigas rs exhaust there were restrictions before the muffler and after the cylinder..

i was kinda vague... Give you alittle more info:
I have a 2001 Tomos TSR50, it is the same scooter as a Hyosung Rush.

The rings are brass with black plastic coating on outside. (6 total)
They are about 1/2" X 1/2" with hole going through about 1/4".
The other is about 1" X 3/4" with a hole of 1/4"

Could the 6 rings be rollers for the variator?
As for the 1" X 3/4", maybe it is supose to go between the pipe & manifold?

I have the pipe on the scooter without any of the rings.
Runs fine, but not really any noticeable difference.

Thanks.

LOL

Yes those brass rings with plastic coatings are rollers...

Maybe you are better of letting somebody else fitting your exhaust...

haha....

i dont know much about scooters... but i think i can manage. thanks.
i took it apart... ther anit sh*t to this motor...
going to buy a piston, head, crack, & variator

Hey,

I got an Aprilia SR50R and i bought a technigas exhaust for it, i took the restrictor out where it bolts onto the engine and now it wont go over 30mph.... i was told it needs "Carbonating" and was told to run it for 500miles :S is that right?

be grateful for your input

Cheers

no... something goes wrong with your engine. What was your top speed before you change pipe? Does the new pipe fits your engine specs?
