Speedfight 50LC

Hi
i have been offered a speedfight 50lc for £150 on a 99
is this ok?
is it a good scooter to tune ?
or is the crankshaft made of chocolate like my old rieju?

it has a standard exhaust but the variator has been done and it does 43mph

what do you think?

a crankshaft is not made of chocolate , it is the way you use it that depends on how long it will last , a std crankshaft is not made for fast kits..

a speedfight is not the kind of scooter to go fast with without serious modifications..

i only wanna spend about £500

Well if u just wanna keep it 50ccm a speedfight is a great scooter, even better that its LC.
43mph is quite ok for a std. 50ccm u wouldn't get it much past 45mph without somesort of tuning.

ah i see the problem now
the reedvalve is only one sided
and the inlet is in an unusual site

I've just put a 70cc sport kit and 17.5 carb on a speedfight 50 aircooled and even being gental on the throttle while running it in it hits 55mph going up hill and wheelies easily.
