it CAN be fitted , i did this on Piaggio (zip LCand Minarelli (aerox LC '98) but the RPM is very high and on longer terms this can cause problems.
it will work , but better buy an exhaust that is made for std cilinder , for low rpm setups , exhausts like Bidalot S2 , Yasuni R , Gianelli reverse etc.
this in combinatio with a good variator this will do very nice
