peugeot speedfight 100 (1999 t reg) question

hi all

i thought i would ask here about something i would like to know..
some body stole the drive belt engine cover from me scooter the other night and peugeot have quoted a stupid price to replace it . my pal has a old 2003 speedfight 2 that he is breaking would the cover from that fit on mine all ok or are they completly different.

the only info on the differences between the 1& 2 i can find is stuff about emmisions and the plastics and colours.

if anyone can tell me if it would fit i would appreciate it very much
