modern forks in old vespa?

i'm trying to fit a modern scooter fork in a vespa smallframe. there are only a few that i've found that have 10" tires, like the gilera ice 50 and peugeot trekker. does anybody with a bike with 10" tires want to do me a favor and take some measurements? i think the gilera forks take the same bearings and nuts as the piaggio fork.

it isn't an easy job I think, but not impossible... But go for a good fork, not the original Piaggio ones

i checked out the runner, but i think the front is 12" and the rear is 13"...or so i was told. that t5 photo looks promising and i know sip sells nrg forks. of course, i'd prefer to find a complete front end for sale.
