mixing rollers?

hay guys.. i see there are people who mix the rollers.. for example: 3x4.1g + 3x 6.0g why they mix ? to have more acceleration in the low rpm and more top speed in the high rpm ? or?

this has always been a little topic on my mind but i never really payed attention to it, i like most of use do what we have to to get the bikes running, but wouldnt 5.5 x 6 rather then 6.0 x 3 + 5.0 x 3 give a more even clutch and roller wear ? or does it not make a difference ?
